About EdProcto.
Made by EdCim, for the people who teach.
Tutors, teachers, lecturers and trainers who want a quiz that measures what they taught, holds up when it counts, and tells them what to do next.
What it stands on
Questions are written from what you teach and, when you say so, from it alone. Every answer Procto AI writes cites where in your material it is, and every question is yours to edit.
No score is released that you did not set. Procto AI marks a written answer against your rubric when you ask it to, and the mark is yours to change; a security flag is a record for your judgement, never a penalty you did not choose.
Every measure is off until you switch it on, each by itself, each with its own consequence. Students are told what is on before they begin.
The same item analysis examination boards run, on every quiz, in plain sentences: which questions measured, which wrong answer the class shares, what to reteach.
Your material is read to write the questions and kept for nothing else. Recordings belong to the attempt and to you.
How the guides are made
The guides are written by the EdProcto editorial team and checked against the research they cite: every rule of assessment against the literature on testing, every figure against the study it came from. No guide invents a study, a statistic or an author. Where the evidence is thin, the guide says so. Each carries the date it was last checked.
EdCim also makes EdCitation, which finds, cites and verifies sources for academic papers from the publisher’s record.
