For hiring.
Your product, your criteria, your test.
Paste what a candidate must know: the product sheet, the process, the policy, the code, and the criteria a good hire meets. Procto AI writes the test from them and checks every question against them. Or start from our templates, the role kits and a reasoning battery made fresh for every candidate. One code for the test, integrity on, results side by side.Write a test now The hiring licence
Your product, your test.
Paste the knowledge and say what a good candidate must know. The test is written here from your material alone, and goes to your dashboard in one click.
The product sheet, the manual, the pricing, the release notes. Questions come from them and cite the line they came from.
How a return is handled, how an incident is escalated, what the code of conduct says. A test on the way you work.
Say what a good candidate must know or do, and the questions are written to tell that candidate from the rest.
Paste the module or the documentation; ask what a function returns, where the bug is, how the API is called.
A style guide, a brand book, a safety standard: tested the way an auditor would test it.
Nothing goes to a candidate until you have read it. Change the wording, the options, the marks.
Or from ours.
111 question shapes, 22 role kits written from the knowledge each role rests on, and a reasoning battery of 14 tests made by rule. Mix them with your own questions in one test.
A program written and run against test cases.
Pick the best option and the worst. Tests judgement at both ends.
One scenario unfolds across the questions; each answer reveals more.
A conversation with a character: a customer, a patient, an interviewer.
Structured questions asked aloud, answered aloud.
The clip plays one time only. Tests real listening.
Click the right part of an image.
A multi-step solution, set out step by step for a reader to grade.
The role kits
From sales to software to nursing: the shape, the sections and the instructions for a skills test, written from your material.
Objections, qualification, the product, the next step.
A customer situation and the right response.
Entries, reconciliations, VAT, the number.
Priorities, correspondence, scheduling, discretion.
A brief, then the copy judged.
Channels, metrics, the campaign decision.
Read the code, find the bug, name the concept.
The query, the chart, the statistic, the pitfall.
The reasoning battery.
Every test made in code with fresh content each time it opens. The same candidate can sit it twice and see a different paper; two candidates side by side see different papers with the same mix of questions.
A data table, then the percentage change, the share and the total. Fresh figures for every candidate.
Analogies, the odd one out, and syllogisms judged valid or not.
Number and letter series, matrices, deduction puzzles with a fresh arrangement each time, codes to break.
Gear trains and levers, computed fresh.
Pairs of records, identical or with one character changed, eight seconds each.
Workplace situations on safety, honesty, priorities, customers and policy, each with the best response and the reason.
Force, power, energy and pressure with units, fresh numbers, for engineering roles.
Why a test from your own material.
A test library sells the same tests to every company. Candidates rehearse them, forums share them, and none of them knows your product. The score tells you how much the candidate practised the library. EdProcto writes the test from your own product knowledge and the criteria you set, so the score means what you need it to mean: does this person know our product, our process, our standard, well enough to do the job on Monday.
Because the reasoning battery is made by rule, every candidate sees a fresh paper with the same mix of questions, and no single paper to pass on. Because the test page carries no answer key and every leave of the tab is marked, the result is the candidate's own. Because the marks are made on the server the moment the answer is given, a hundred candidates are ranked before the coffee is poured.
The same engine tests staff: a check after each onboarding module, a quiz from each policy, a product test when a release ships, and a re-test months later that tells you whether the training held. One licence, unlimited people.
How it goes.
- Step 1Paste the knowledge and the criteria
Or pick a role kit and the battery. Procto AI writes the test; you edit it.
- Step 2Set the integrity
Time limits, shuffled questions, leaving the tab noticed, full screen, a locked clipboard where the stakes call for it. Each measure is named to the candidate before they begin.
- Step 3One code for the test
Candidates open it on their own device, each under their own name. The questions leave without their keys; the marks are made on the server.
- Step 4Read the results side by side
Every candidate's score, time and answers; the questions that separated the strong from the rest; the events worth a second look.
Questions.
- How is a test written from our product?
- Paste the product sheet, manual, process or policy, and the criteria a good candidate must meet. Procto AI writes the questions from them in the shapes you choose, is asked to keep each to the material, and gives the passage it came from. Every question is yours to edit before a candidate sees it.
- How does this compare with a test library such as TestGorilla?
- A test library sells pre-written tests that are the same for every company and that candidates can rehearse. EdProcto writes your test from your own product knowledge and criteria, so it measures whether the candidate knows your product, your process and your standard. The reasoning battery is made fresh for every candidate, and no answer key is on the page.
- Can we use it for staff, not only candidates?
- Yes. Onboarding checks per module, compliance quizzes from each policy, product knowledge tests when a release ships, and a re-test months later to see whether the training held. The licence covers candidates and staff without limit.
- Is the battery an IQ test?
- No. The reasoning kits are tests of reasoning in the style of the standard aptitude batteries, made fresh for each candidate. A score is a score on this test, against this candidate pool. EdProcto gives no IQ and claims no norm.
- Can a candidate look up the answers?
- A test from your own material has no public answers. The reasoning kits are made by rule with fresh numbers, words and arrangements for every candidate, so there is no key to find. In both, the questions leave for the candidate’s device without their keys, and the marks are made on the server.
- What does a licence cover?
- Unlimited candidates and staff, every template and kit, integrity to the level your process needs, results side by side and as a spreadsheet file, and a named contact. Your own branding on the candidate’s screen is still to come and is arranged on the call. Priced by the size of the programme.
- Where are the results kept?
- On the server, under your account, for as long as you keep them. A candidate’s answers, times and events stay with their attempt; nothing about a candidate is used for anything else.
