For universities.
Assessment that holds in the era of the chatbot.

Question shapes that a chatbot cannot answer for the student, a quiz page that carries no key, every leave of the tab marked, spoken and photographed answers kept as evidence, and Procto AI marking written work against your rubric with your release. The Institution licence brings it to a whole programme.

What you get.

Shapes that defeat the chatbot

Hotspots, listen-once, memory reveals, spoken answers, photographed working, cases that unfold.

No key on the page

Questions leave for the student's device without their answers; marks are made on the server.

Every event marked

Leaving the tab, leaving full screen, a blocked copy or paste: each noticed, each with the consequence you chose, each in the record. With the camera on, a second face or no face in the frame is noticed too.

Written work marked by rubric

Each answer waits for you to grade against your model answer and rubric, or for Procto AI when you ask; nothing is released until you release it.

Graduate shapes

Synthesis with citations, a defended position, a methods critique, a peer review, a viva.

A licence for the programme

One contract, arranged on a call, with Maximum integrity, your logo, colours and web address, your own sign-in, and your student records through the API.

How it goes.

  1. Step 1
    Bring the course material

Questions are written from it and cited to it, or your team writes them in any shape.

  2. Step 2
Set the integrity for the stakes

From a formative check to a full-screen exam with the clipboard locked, or a proctored exam with the webcam, the shared screen and an ID checked at the start: each measure named to the student before they begin.

  3. Step 3
    Release the results

By rule at once, or after your review of the marked written work.

Why it is built this way.

The take-home essay stopped being evidence of a student's knowledge in 2023. What still is: an answer produced in front of a record, in a shape a chatbot cannot fill in, from material the student was taught. EdProcto is built as that record. Every question leaves without its key, every event is marked, and the shapes that need a person, a voice, a click on a diagram, a memory after a reveal, are here.

For written work that must stay written, Procto AI marks an answer against your rubric when you ask and leaves the mark with you to change and release, so the reader's judgement stays yours and the hours do not.

Questions.

Does it replace a proctoring service?
For most assessments it records what matters, each with its time and the consequence you chose: leaving the tab or full screen, a blocked copy, paste, print or shortcut, and, where you switch them on, photos from the webcam, the shared screen and a phone watching the room, faces and gaze, and an ID checked at the start. Every flag is a record for your review, not a verdict.
Can it fit our LMS and sign-in?
The marks leave as the file your LMS reads, and the quiz as QTI, from the results page. Your staff sign in through your own identity provider, and your systems read every student's results through the API with a key.
