Why they are built this way

Board candidates pass by practising in the paper's own shape with feedback. A kit built to the exam's style, taken first in study mode and then timed, is the preparation the pass rate rewards. Your own review materials, pasted in, make the questions specific to what you will be asked.

How to use them

Take the kit in study mode until the misses are few, then in exam mode timed. Paste your review material for questions in its words. Let the re-tests space the months of preparation.

Written from your material

This kit is a recipe: the shape, the number of questions, the sections and the instructions Procto AI follows. Paste your own material and the questions are written from it, each with the passage its answer came from. Procto AI is asked to keep to your material, and each key is yours to check; every question is yours to edit before anyone sees it.

The shape: multiple choice

The workhorse of assessment: one right answer among plausible options, marked at once, comparable across every student. Written well, the wrong options map the misconceptions in the room.

EdProcto marks selection questions by rule the moment the answer is given. Several-answer shapes give credit for the part that is right when partial credit is on; negative marking takes one over the number of wrong options, so guessing earns nothing on average; a confidence rating earns a bonus when sure and right and a larger penalty when sure and wrong, so it pays only when it is honest. Options can be shuffled per student, and the analysis shows which wrong option beat the right one.

Taking it

Open it in study mode for the answer and the explanation after each question, and a retry of only what you missed. Switch to exam mode for the real conditions. It comes due again in a few days; the dashboard shows what is due and what you missed last time. Share it with a code for a class, print it as a paper, or host it on a screen for a room.
